Dua Iftitah In Arabic English Translation And Transliteration

Hello Muslims friends, in the prayer after performing Takbiratul Ihram there is a dua that must be read, namely the iftitah prayer. On this occasion we will share the dua complete in arabic english translation and transliteration. Therefore, read our article this time when it’s over.

What Is Dua Iftitah?

The iftitah prayer is one of the prayers that is destroyed to be recited during fardhu prayers and sunnah prayers. The iftitah prayer when the prayer is read between the takbiratul ihram and the reading of the letter Al-Fatihah at the first rakaat of the prayer. The word iftitah itself, comes from the word “fataha” which means preamble. This is why this prayer lies at the beginning of the rakaat.

The Law Of Dua Iftitah In Prayer

In the Madzhab of Imam As-Syafee, there are two kinds of sunnah in prayer, namely:
1. Sunnah Sunnah Ab’adh : It is a sunnah that if not done, then the sunnah performs sujud syahwi before the greeting.
2. Sunnah Hay’ah : On the contrary, if this sunnah is not done, do not have to perform sujud syahwi.
And the iftitah prayer is included in the Sunnah of Hay’ah, so if you do not read this prayer then the prayer you are working with is still shah and you do not have to do the sujud syahwi.

When The Iftitah Dua Is Read?

Dua iftitah  are recited at pardu prayers and sunnah prayers, precisely the prayers are read after you have finished doing Takbirotul Ihram.
Because the law is sunnah, if you are a makmum masbuq then do not recite the dua iftitah but directly recite the surah Al-Fatihah.
