أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ وَاشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءٌ لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمَاً

Transliteration

Allahumma Rabban-naas, azhibil-ba’s, washfi antash-Shaafi laa shifaa’a illaa shifaa’uka, shifaa’an laa yughaadiru saqamaa

English Translation

O Lord of the people, remove this pain and cure it, You are the one who cures and there is no one besides You who can cure, grant such a cure that no illness remains.

Hadith About Dua Shifa

Aisha reported: When the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, would visit a sick person, he would say, “Take away the pain, O Lord of all people, and give healing for You are the Healer. There is no healing but Your healing, a healing that leaves no trace of illness.” Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 5743, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2191i
