Many prayers should be practiced regularly, such as daily prayers when you want to do something, and even prayers in the morning as a good start to open the day.

The Messenger of Allah SAW has also taught that narrates some prayers that are read in the morning as follows:

1. Morning prayer to surrender to Allah Almighty

Imam An-Nawawi in the book of Al-Adzkar quoted the prayer of the Messenger of Allah who started the morning by surrendering only to Allah Almighty as God Almighty.

Here’s the prayer reading:

Translitertion

English Translation

“O God, with Thee I am in the morning, with Thee I am in the dark, with Thee we live, with Thee we die. Only to You (we) return,” (HR Abu Dawud, At-Turmudzi, Ibn Majah, and others).

2. Morning prayer to ask for the protection of Allah Almighty

In addition to the above prayers, there are also other prayers that the Prophet recited in the morning as narrated by the Companions of Ibn Mas’ud in Sahih Muslim as follows:

My Lord, I beseech Thee for goodness tonight and the night after. I beg for Your protection from evil tonight and the night after. My Lord, I beseech Your protection from the laziness and tavern of old age. I beg for Your protection from the torments of hell and the torments of the grave,”
