Duas Prayer Taubat in Arabic, Transliteration, and English Translation

Duas Prayer Taubat in Arabic, Transliteration, and English Translation – Before knowing more about the taubat prayer, we need to know in advance what is meant by taubat prayer.

Based on the Complete Prayer Handbook (Compulsory & Sunnah) by Saeful Hadi El Sutha, taubat prayer is a sunnah prayer performed by every Muslim who wants to repent and cleanse himself of all sins and mistakes that have been committed.

The goal is to calm down and get closer to Allah Almighty. For in truth, a man full of sins and mistakes will not be at peace with his heart and soul.

According to the book, taubat prayers can be performed at any time and outside the forbidden time. The performance is also the same as other fardhu prayers, only different in terms of intention and prayer. This prayer can consist of two or four rakaats, with every two rakaats doing greetings.

The postulate about the sunnah doing taubat prayers is also explained in the book, that the Messenger of Rosululloh SAW said:

“Everyone who sins, then he then rushes to perform ablutions and performs prayers, and asks Allah for mercy, undoubtedly Allah forgives him..” (HR Abu Dawud . An-Nasa’i, Ibn Majah and Al Baihaqi)
