Dua After Tahajjud In Arabic, Transliteration And English Translation
Dua tahajjud is a dua that is read when you finish performing tahajjud prayers at night, before continuing to the following main discussion at a glance about tahajjud prayers.

What Is Tahajjud Prayer?

Tahajjud prayer is a sunnah prayer performed by a servant on a third of the night, or around 3 a.m. Looking at the implementation time, it is indeed very difficult to carry it out, and it seemed that only a obedient servant was capable of doing that.

Tahajjud prayers must be performed after sleeping, even if just for a brief time, as this is in accordance with the definition of the word tahajjud, which means “awakening from sleep.” So, in order to perform tahajud prayer, we must have slept previously, even if just for a brief time.

How Many Rakaat tahajjud?

There are no rakaat limitations in this sunnah prayer. Rakaat salat tahajud starts from 2 rakaat, 4 rakaat, and so on without restrictions.

Tahajjud Prayer Advice

The advice of tahajud prayer was conveyed by the Prophet Muhammad PBUH as narrated from the Hadith of HR Muslim: “The main prayer after fardhu prayer is sunnah prayer at night”. In addition, Allah SWT also said in the Qur’an surah al-isra verse 79:
وَمِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَتَهَجَّدْ بِهِ نَافِلَةً لَكَ عَسَىٰ أَنْ يَبْعَثَكَ رَبُّكَ مَقَامًا مَحْمُودًا

“And rise from sleep during the night, as well- this is an additional Prayer for you. Possibly your Lord will raise you to an honoured position”
