Hadith on the Obligation to study

طَلَبُ الْعِلْمِ فَرِيْضَةٌ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ وَمُسْلِمَةٍ
“Seeking knowledge is an obligation upon every Muslim.” (HR Al-Baihaqi)
According to the hadith above, the Prophet Muhammad urges us as Muslims to gain, of course, information that is helpful to our lives, whether they be lives in this world or lives after death.
Learning is a beneficial activity that is well-executed since it provides several advantages. As Muslims, however, we are encouraged to begin all good deeds with prayer, as a hope of obtaining Rida Allah SWT.
