About Sadness

Sadness and anxiety are two common human emotions that almost everyone has experienced. Due to family matters, employment obligations, neighborhood ties, and other factors, this condition may not be as bad as it seems.
Levels of serotonin, progesterone, dopamine, and oxytocin can also affect human emotions. These hormones can be the culprits of sadness in the heart. Then how to deal with it?
Islam demands that its adherents resist giving in to despair when faced with repeated tribulations from Allah Almighty. Islam, on the other hand, demands that its adherents always be upbeat about the future.
Rest assured that Allah Almighty is always there with us then let’s be sad. Allah Almighty said At-Tawbah verse 40:
 ؓ لَا تَحْزَنْ إِنَّ اللَّـهَ مَعَنَا
(` la tahzan innallaha ma` ana’: Do not grieve. Allah is with us).

If it is to be sad, then a good Muslim must be sad because of sin. If so repent immediately, to repent you must read Dua For Repentance (Tawbah)
